| so i don't really like writing in this, but i figure if i have a xanga i may as well post a new entry about CLTC 6 2005 since it was like.. the primest thing ever and i would give anything to be back at perlman, eating gross food [except cantenn food & grilled cheese, ofcourse] & killing bugs right and left [but not spiders. i hate spiders]. sigh.
so amanda picked me up on that tuesday morning at my casa & we loaded my stuff into her dads car and we drove to newark airport. we got there and there were all these people.. we started introducing ourselves to EVERYONE we saw, especially the boys. there were a few cute guys and we were trying to 'claim' them lol. automtically BAR became known as 'the bar' and 'the new york girls'. i introduced myself to this guy, mike shama, and he was like 'cassidy? you're a hustler' and i was really confused.. and then ethan said it. and me and everyone from BAR were like 'its cassie.. not cassidy' but that was the ongoing joke for the next 12 days, along with like 123081260432524 others.
we boarded the bus and when we got there, everyone was checked for lice. then we went to the bunks and put our stuff in our designated rooms and got our binders and name tags [i cherish mine now lol]. we got a tour of camp and had dinner. it was so weird to sing the birkat without any hand motions [we werent allowed] and then by the end of the 2 weeks, i was amazed that i actually KNEW the last part that i usually just mumble cuz im too busy doing the hand motions lol. yay mindy =] i think we had our first dorm/chapter meeting that night too. and then of course we all stayed up ridiculously late with keren & evan, the most amazing staff ever. making 'the list' lol of guys that everyone wanted to hu with.
so the first day we were all just kind of getting adjusted and everything. classes started the next day. BBYO basics and rotations. i didn't really know what to expect, i didnt wana feel like i was in school.. but the classes were nothing like that. they were amazing and sooo much fun. BBYO basics was always the best because well, amys hot. haha. but yeh. classes were good.
the food pretty much sucked. the tofu nuggets were good, and plain pasta was okay. and ofcourse grilled cheese. but i generally ate salad like 24/8. and then i'd raid the canteen during chofesh lol. i had to have three canteen cards.. three! oy. rikkudim [israeli dancing] was so much fun.. BAR took over that first night that we did it lol. and we took over shira [singing] too. lol.
i hated the first few days, i'll admit it. but once i opened up and got more comfrotable with everyone [and the mice and the bugs] it was amazing. i met so many amazing people. and i was lucky enough to have carolyn sleeping right above me haha, so we became pretty close. we would spend nights in jess's bed in her room talking about vaginas haha and talking vaginas.. and of course, disgusting PD. haha. sigh. i love jess. i didn't like her the first like 2 days, but after that i was like yo i love this girl.. sigh. best coordinator ever ever ever =]
the dan nichols concert was alot of fun too. i can't remember what day it was, i think it was sunday night. it was the most amazing thing ever. i bought the CD and dan nichols signed it [it just occurred to me that i have no idea where i put that CD. ugh.] ... aaaand i hooked up that night lol, with tennessee [aka david hecht] so that was fun lol. we hooked up a few times for the next like 3 days, but it was all good.
achayot b'lev bbg #2245. where do i begin. i was elected sh'licha on the first friday of cltc and i am so proud to have served on board. we really are 'sisters at heart' and the most amazing chapter ever. it was so great that a group of girls, most of whom had never met before, could come together and form a chapter and work together so well after just a few short days. we ran a great shabbat program and services the next friday night went well too =] yay for that. we formed such an amazing bond.. our meetings were always funy, our banner was SO HOT and our spirit songs were awesome. we are AVL BBG 2245, now and forever. bari was nsiah, btdubz.
so i skipped over like everything else thas equally important, like the midnight program and inductions and all that jazz, cuz im too lazy.. but theres a ton of inside jokes, look on my mypsace if you wanna read them cuz once again, too lazy.

| so it's been about a month and a half since my last entry. sigh.
it's incredibly difficult to type this, seeing as my computer is on the floor. yes, that's right. i have no desk. it's an interesting story, involving my mother telling me that i could have my brothers desk, throwing my old desk out, and the desicovering that the only way to get the new desk upstairs is to either take the basement door off or take the desk apart and put it back together in my room. so i'm sitting here on the floor, not very comfortable cuz my legs are in the way of my typing.. oh well.
so summer '05 has been pretty good so far. some parts haven't been too exciting, and others, well, have been amazing. i'm not at camp this summer [tear..] and i haven't started working yet [once i come back from cltc], so basically i've just been chillen. went to ashley's barbeque and said goodbye to her before she left for camp.. saw everyone there -- amanda, rose, chrissy, greg, zwibel, tobey, etc. it was fun, i missed them all. then my brothers barbeque, where i got slightly tipsy.. lol that was an interesting one.
i went to go visit my old camp on tuesday. it was interesting.. steve saw me walking and he honked at me and toldme to get in the car lol so he drove me to where becca's division was [cyberland]. hung out with them all day and it made me really miss camp. i really really miss it.. sigh. i snuck on stacey's bus to go home and ended up staying at her house lol where we did the usual walk to dunkin donuts, went thru old camp pictures in her room, and just talked. i love my best friend<3. otherwise i've spent most of my days hanging out with amanda &/or rose lol. my other biffless.. my rosie is still in a cast and i miss her so much, even thought i saw her yesterday. i want her to get better so she can go to camp. ate dinner with her and katz last night, applebees of course.. and we ate before 6, so everything was half off =] haha how sweet..
so yea, i leave for CLTC on tuesday. i'm really excited, i've been packing for days. there's so much to do before i leave. everyone from CLTC 5 comes home today, so that should be interesting. i've already met so many people going on CLTC 6 through myspace lol so it'll be cool knowing people from other regions beforehand. i'm so ready to get out of here.. it'll be nice to be away from home for awhile. just two more days.. two more days. i'm going out tomorrow for last minute stuff, getting my eyebrows done probably with katz and then maybe seeing dani later. then it's off to newark airport tomorrow when katz come to my house at like 11 in the morning.. sigh. i can't fucking wait<3

| so its been like what, a month since i last wrote an entry? oh well. its okay we can breathe easy, i'm back.
back from london, that is. so vacation was pretty good. went to london last friday night, my dad was stil in the hospital, things were a mess, i was a wreck, i didnt want to leave. my mom and i went and ahh i had so much fun. we went shopping, but not alot cuz when you change dollars to pounds you get shit, so yeh.. but we went all around london, we took tons of pictures, i'll put some up when i get them developed. we stayed in my aunts house. she wasnt home when we first got there, she was in ireland on some catholic retreat lol, but she left us keys and shit so that was cool even tho her apartment is a fuckin mess its sick.. but whatev. sooo we had fun navigating ourselves around london. ive been there like 5 times before this [i was also born there] and every time i was there i got really sick.. FIRST TIME NOT EVEN GETTING A COLD.. omg its fuckin crazy how much better a vacation is when youre healthy and can actually enjoy it..
but it didnt start out that great. my mom passed out on the plane ride there from lack of sugar -- she's hypoglycemic [cant spell], so that freaked me out a little.. and i felt naus the whole ride there but thats normal, i never feel good on planes. or ever in general lol. but it turned out okay. then on the 2nd to last day we were in london my mom started havcing problems with her leg so as i type this she's at LIJ and they are trying to figure out wtf is wrong with her.. my aunt keeps no painkillers in her house so my mom was complaining to me about her leg all night last night and my head was pounding and i couldnt take anything.. HOW CAN YOU NOT KEEP FUCKIN ADVIL OR TYLENOL OR ANYTHING IN YOUR HOUSE?! sorry i juss think its a lil ridic..
so yea im home now.. unny, in london its almost 10:00pm and here its getting close to 5.. what a time difference. not having a hard time adjusting tho, so thats good.. i unpacked and cleaned my room, go me. the weather in london is sooo cold and its rainy and snowy and gross so when i stepped off the plane it almost seemed like a miracle to be somewhere where the sun was shining.. i was almost sweating, its so much warmer in new york lmfao. so yeh that was my vacation so far.. nothing planned for tonight cuz im a loser and i just got home at 2.. so i have nothing to do until sunday, cuz like half an hour of convench planning then time with my girlss -- brit, rose, & manda. ooh cant wait. alright im outs. actually writing an entry took alot out of me. haha.
